It's all about balance
Welcome to the 2006 version of the Elantra Club's Best
Modded Contest. Although the contestants change from year to year one thing remains the same... the judging criteria. It's
not about who has the most mods it's about who has the most balanced modifications. What do I mean by "balance"? Basically
the judging comes down to these categories: Appearance Mods, Engine Mods, Handling Mods, Audio/Video and Detailing.
Here's the way I want you to break down each category as you choose a winner:
Exterior appearance mods are 20% of the score. Interior appearance
mods are 20% of the score. Engine performance mods are 25% of the score. Handling mods account for 20% of
the score. Audio/Video is 10% of the score and give 5% for a shiny, well detailed car. This may not be your
personal idea of the perfect modded car but these are the guidelines for this contest.
We have a fine assortment of club member's cars entered this
year. Peruse each entry carefully and then decide who has the best modded Elantra Club car for 2006. Please vote using
the guidelines of this contest. Keep in mind this is not a popularity contest... and remember it's all about balance. -
